  • Also, in terms of long term use, according to the statistics of people claiming repairs on their warranty, Apple came in 4th for reliability.

The first 3 were ASUS, Toshiba and Sony. And in that order of I remember correctly.

Meaning, more people repaired their MacBooks than people who owned ASUS during the same period. That was a survey out of 30,000 people.

MacBook are good reliable computers, but not the most reliable.

  • @ajarnCarlosVega there are thousands of survey conducted every year about tech companies. Not all of them are reliable. According to a survey by PC World (Q4 2010) with a sample size of 79,000 respondents, Apple smoked the competition in the desktop, notebook, and smartphone categories, winning high praise from customers in all reliability and service categories. • @shynobi327 not to broke, but to smart to pay twice as much for the same hardware. these mac book pro have crappy i5 cpu and only 4 gig of ram for like $1400. can get the same pc for half as much.
