Some video I got of The Black Angels performing at the Angel Orensanz Foundation (an art gallery that used to be a synagogue). This was a secret show in NYC that you had to win tickets to. I had the honor and pleasure of being a part of those who attended. If you look closely you can see some professionals shooting the whole thing. Apparently that was entirely organized by the band's label - hopefully it turns up sooner than later!
They played the entirety of Phosphene Dream then took a break and came back to play some older cuts. It all sounded great. It was nearly the perfect venue.
