Raptor 50 Setup

In my impatience i flew a newly built raptor 50 in the rain, the engine was not right so it was a few test flights.

Note to self : Never fly in the rain, water got into the dx6i, it switcched off, i had to dive under heli while it went to full throttle and pull fuel line off. Nearly went very very bad very quick, lessoon learnt

If you rebind your radio with the throttle zeroed that wont happen again.

@cayote64 The water may have messed with the radio, but when it loses signal it goes to the failsafe settings. I had this same problem once and it cost me some money!

Not on the raptor, that worked fine in the rain, the DX6i however once wet did fail.

Sorry to ask, but if possible can you let me know as to your trim settings on the DX6I for your R50.... as I'm currently setting up a raptor 50 and have a DX6i that I'll be running on it without a governor, and just need a 'little' help re max throttle trim settings etc.

It was the first time i had flow it, so ws very cautious, just checking cyclic etc. Nearly went very wrong when dx lost bind and it throttled up but missed that on video
