The woman in the video was able to speak her mind and she was brilliant. She articulated very well her opinion on the political future and aspirations of her country.

This is not propaganda talk from her. The Cubans were educated under Castro and they are very intelligent. Some of us Americans think we know everything and are dumber than doornails. I hope Cuba prospers well in the future. The beautiful people of Cuba deserve it.

Lets hope we will never see a Macdonalds arch or a Starbucks in Cuba, the Cuban People are to good for that.

@obastan No one in Cuba is able to speak their mind without risking reprisal, especially if it is being filmed. I'm always amazed when a foreign correspondent puts a microphone in front of a Cuban and asks him, what do you think about the government. More often than not, the Cuban will repeat government soundbites.

@69coquito The Cuban people are also too good for a continued tyrannical dynasty ruling their country. Let's hope that the Castro dynasty [first Fidel, now Raul] ends. Fifty-one years of dictatorship is too long.

I was recently in Cuba and the Cuban people are wonderful. Changes are coming and arter having read the comments of several American posts , I really fear and feel for the Cuban people .The cultural sewage that is coming their way if the influence of the States comes to bear is unfortunate. I hope they can minimize the effects of such an influence.
