Yamdrok Lake in Tibet is the clearest and purest lake i have ever seen, the water over there is truly holy.

all due respect taken, no problem. I was making a light hearted comment; not serious, just wishing for some of that Himalaya water. I can taste it now! It was a joke and for fun! Thanks.

and how much CO2 would be emitted / energy be consumed to transport it from Asia to the US ? Environmental problems are difficult to solve because things are interrelated. So it's not just a salesman equation to solve. With all due respect.

There would be a market that could help the Tibetans to freedom - bottle the water and sell it in America!! We can use it; I'm so sick of tasting chlorine and paying a fortune for bottled H2O. Thanks and Tashi delek! May all sentient beings be happy!!

Sin and the Lord will bring a flood, says the Bible.

Build an Airport Runway and the icebergs will melt and bring a flood, say the environmentalists

The only difference between the two narratives is that the latter has taken G-d out of the equation and replaced Him with a couple of think tanks

Environmentalism provides the believer with the grandiosity of a human centered existence, in which the actions of individuals can lead to massive catastrophes, floods, hurricanes

Could someone with a voice ask the makers of the combustion engine why there has been little change in the last 100 years as opposed to weapons. In the same amount of time we've gone from muskets to unmanned drones using laser guided targeting. I don't believe we have an inborn wish to exterminate ourselves, but, I believe some ideas could be suppressed in the name of profit now versus later. We need to make people answer these fundamental questions and also cut back on use.
