  • The odds are one out of 500,000.

You're more likely to be hit by a car on three separate incidents. In the same day.

    Just saying.

  • If you're not willing to take a 1:500000 chance you should never even leave your house.

Your chances to die in a traffic accident are much higher.

  • i wonder how many people said... "thanks bitch u fucked it up for everyone" lmfao

  • 1in 500000 chance lol

  • @Jex134 I have, actually... there was a case here just a couple of months ago that a young jumper got killed when the cord snapped. It does happen. I'm sure it's not very often but it does happen. Of course you can argue about the relative danger, I'm sure traffic accidents are much more usual.

  • All I can say is: That's Aussies for ya. 8D

  • @ViolentRiC Yes, I get that. My point was that Cenk's argument was NOT the one you are making. It was a rational argument (at least some of it was). He was making a case based on logic, not the primal fears you're talking about. When he says, "You think that they're never going to screw up that bungee cord?" That's an appeal to considering probability in this case. Is it any wonder that people would respond with probability arguments to that?

  • That hot chocolate must've been the best damn chocolate ever#

  • Pussies

  • Female Chuck Norris.Nuff said.
