**Nick's POV**
I walked into the house and laid on the couch. I never want to go to another funeral again. Marissa left early because she couldn't deal with it. Lots of people were crying which made me have tears in my eyes. Should I have saved him when I saw his body? Tish and Billy never came but Brandi and Noah did just to see what Jack looked like. I want this monster gone. The vampire killing all these people has to leave. Joe walked in a sat down on the chair.
"How was it Nick?"
"Awful." I stood up." Marissa left early to go to Montana. Everybody was crying. It was hard."
"That's usual how funerals are Nick." He shrugged.
"Joe, we need to talk about this vampire that's killing all these people in the town."
"What about it?"
"We need to make it leave or kill it at least."
"Come on Nick, the vampire will move on soon. Your making such a big deal about it."
"Yeah, when the population is eight people. And thats our family. And how do we not know that the vampire killed JACK and the other boys?" I asked.
"I suppose you have a point, but how will we find it?"
"I don't know. We will just keep an eye out on things." I shrugged.
**Marissa's POV**
Never in my life have I ever smiled so big before. Except for when Nick proposed to me. The wedding is so close yet so far away. Why am I smiling you ask? I'm free. Free from the demon, free from Josh, free from killing all these innocent people. I walked past a bunch and none of them I seemed interested to kill. How was I free? Something else possesed my body. Something good too. I sat down on the couch at the castle and just smiled. I didn't want to leave yet. I just wanted all of this to absorb in. Cam came down and smiled at me.
"You look so happy." Cam laughed and sat across from me.
"Why wouldn't I be? This is the best day ever. First I find out I'm free from the demon and then-" I smiled.
"I'm very happy for you Marissa. I envy Nick right now." Cam smiled. I slightly smiled back. Nick will be thrilled once I tell him the great news.
"How is it with you and Lana?" I asked. Cam smiled widely.
"It's going great. I love Lana. I want to be with her forever." Cam smiled.
"I'm proud of you. I now trust you that you wont hurt her." I smiled.
"She would be the one to hurt me." Cam said.
"Huh?"
"What I mean is...I can't break away from Lana. I would never leave her. But maybe Lana would leave me." Cam flinched at the thought.
"She would never leave you. She is crazy about you." I smiled. Cam smiled and nodded. I looked at the time and by now the funeral was over with. I guess it's time to go break the news to Nick. I was pregnant. Do you remember Robert talking about the demon with me? And how the only way to get rid of it was if something else possesed my body? I only thought something BAD could posses my body again but Robert said something GOOD could posses it. Well, something good has possesed my body. A baby. I'm having Nick's baby. I smiled at the thought and felt tears of joy. I walked into the house and Nick and Joe looked over at me. Nick smiled and patted the seat next to him.
"What are we talking about?" I smiled.
"What happened to you?" Nick laughed. I laughed and shrugged.
"We are talking about the vampire that has killed so many people in our town." Joe pointed out. Suddenly, my heart sank.
"W-what?" I stuttered.
"Yeah. We are trying to see what we could do about it?" Nick said.
"O-oh." I looked down.
"Yeah. I'm trying to look and see who it is from the past but it is all blurry. And when I try and look into the future I get nothing. It will be hard to find it." I gulped.
"It's really odd. The only person Joe can't see is.....you." Nick suddenly looked at me with an expression I couldn't read. This cant be happening. I looked into Nick's eyes and mine started to sting as tears poured down my cheek. Nick's face was filled with sorrow.
"Marissa, you didnt-" Nick's voice cracked at the end. His eyes began to water.
"I'm so so sorry Nick." I cried.
