popular in England is because in the 70s and 80s it was very easy for Jamaicans to move there and they brought their funky beats with them which led later on to what we call dubstep or house music or DnB or Electronic/Trance. It isn't just a bunch of wubs and drums thrown together!
@TheBarryviper actually, yes. This was about a 2 hour session and they talked about the dance side of this music with the jittery movements and how that began to rise in the 90s
