  • 1:19:10 " ... when we go... ¡we go together...! ¡¡And WE GO NOW...!!".

That's what I call authority. Sir Bogarde was an expert at making others feel that he really meant it. I love him.

  • @JaliscoDeOjosHazel Happy to see you are still enjoying this movie. Sad that so many of his movies that were available on YT were lost with channel suspensions. I thought of uploading all of them on one channel dedicated just to him. I wonder how long it would last.lol

  • The Copyright was actually 1953 - which really makes little difference. It is just the person presenting the film should make his notes from the actual film - not from something else.

  • @resculptit The information was copied directly from IMDb and for the most part they are pretty accurate but can make mistakes. I will leave it up as is, since so many use it as a reference. The video cover states the same, so maybe an error was made years ago.

  • good post - my favourite phrase at 40.00

  • @peteholden148 Happy to know you liked the film and thanks for the feedback.

Thank YOU. Yes, it is a really sad thing that YT had deleted those awesome channels already. If you could make a channel dedicated just to Sir, we'll be the happiest. Once again, I do thank you for the effort and the time. Be safe.:D xoxo

  • I guess the main problem I have with these 'dramatic' war movies begins with the ineptitude and ignorance of those in the group. Hollywood created the Super Patrol guys and gals that were extremely disiplined and focussed. Yet they had phsychological flaws. These guys are so sentimental that they drisk the mission on thoughts that should have been worked out long before chosen to be there. WE know of the Special Forces/Green Berets. These guys are Wimps...

  • 22 minutes into this flick and it seems like a really exceptional movie. Time will tell... I love that simile [at 38mins into] used when the Boss is walking back and forth: "crawlin' up and down like he's waitin' for the Pubs to open." Now THAT is being anxious !!

  • When a women asks for 'Champaigne' - the guy should order a 'White wine with Soda.' The woman would never know the difference.

  • @jrms999 You are very welcome. I am glad you enjoyed the film.
