Until You're Mine Ep. 1

It was Miley's first day of school at Belmont High School. She had books in her hands, and a schedule full of classes she didn't know where they were.

Miley: *walking down the hall while everyone whispers about her* *crashes into someone* AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

???: I'm SO SORRY! Here, let me help you! *helps Miley up*

Miley: No, it's okay. Really, I'm fine. I'm Miley, by the way.

???: Selena. I haven't seen you around before.

Miley: I'm new, that's why.

Selena: Then I'll help you around! This is school is, like, the back of my hand. *giggles*

Miley: *laughs* Thanks. That's nice of you!

Selena became a real good friend to Miley for the next three months. Selena had a boyfriend, too. His name was Nick Jonas. And he had an older brother, Joe, who sat at their lunch table but was always quiet; he never spoke.

*With Selena and Miley at Pinkberry*

Miley: Why doesn't Joe talk at lunch?

Selena: Well.... his girlfriend, Taylor... um... died. *looks down*

Miley: Oh no... Now I feel so bad.

Selena: *nods* We all felt bad. She had brain cancer... It happened last summer, but Joe never forgot her.She Was His First Love.

Miley: Oh, wow... That must've been terrible.

Selena: *nods* The funeral was the worst. Taylor's ex-boyfriend, Drew, came by and had a fist fight with Joe.

Miley: *gasps and stares at her* What? At a funeral?!

Selena: *sad* Yeah... Dunno why, but it happened.

Miley: Well, can we change subject? *laughs* I don't like talking about depressing
stories.

Selena: Let's go ...
Selena/Miley: SHOPPING! *laugh*

For the next year or so, Miley and Selena became "tight". Like peanut butter and jelly! Nick and Selena were dead serious in their relationship and Joe was... Joe. He never spoke at lunch, nor did he look up from his seat on the bus.

One day changed a lot.

Miley: *walking down the street to Pinkberry; on the phone* Mom, I get it! No, Sel and I are having a sleepover. I need to get... Urgh, Mom! Listen to me! ... Whatever, bye! *hangs up; groans*

???: Something wrong?

Miley: *looks up* Hey. Wait a minute, you're TALKING?! *laughs* That's a first.

???: I didn't want you to be alone on such a busy street, so... I'll accompany you.

*end*
