Felt like writing a sonnet... so I did. Its in iambic pentameter, and its Shakespearean, though that's pretty obvious I suppose.

"Ignite"

Here's the text:
What is this culture of worldly prestige?
It is, and may forever be, a curse.
Boasting of peace, yet laying only siege,
While living and lying turns for the worse.
The blackest resources are plentiful,
Bathed in swashes of crimson misery.
The boldest sustenance is bountiful,
Writing tomorrow's obituary.
Religion oppresses logical souls,
While the gullible ones live and let lie.
Capitalism extends former goals,
While the masses of sickly start to die.
What, I wonder, will become of this place?
Can it be salvaged from utter disgrace?
