Aces High by Penfar FX

Whether you're playing Aerosmith or Alter Bridge, Aces High will send your tone soaring through your fans eardrums!


Controls:
"LEVEL" - volume
"SATURATION" - max gain level
"GAIN" - master gain level
"HIGH" - treble
"LOW" - bass
"Cruise/Climb" - mids selection

Runs only off DC power jack.


When I was developing 'Aces High' I didn't set out to make it sound like a Marshall, Mesa Boogie or anything specific. I just wanted to make something that would give me a variety of distortion to play whatever I wanted.


The Saturation and Gain controls work independently of each other. They're basically two gain controls. You can use one or the other or both together. Crank the Gain and Saturation and you can chug out some mean riffs. If you want something more in the overdrive category flip the switch to "Climb" for a boost in mids, roll Saturation and Gain back to minimum and tune it to taste. If it's a metal sound you crave then crank the gain and switch to "Cruise" to scoop the mids.

Nice range of OD and distortion, I have one of these on order and should have it tomorrow or Friday. Really looking forward to checking it out. Nice price too for a handbuilt pedal with a good screen. Will follow up once I've run it through my rig for a little while.
