  • Probably one of Stallones finest moments as an actor...

  • My two favorite men! Bruce and Sly! ♥

  • Powerful moment... it was good seeing Stallone actually acting again. Love the part where he gently put his head into her hand.

  • I love this movie! The thing I hate about this movie is when all his Deputies has an excuse to leave him when the shit goes down! I would have been right by his side all the way! We would have walked out of the Sheriff's Office side by side!

  • perfect scene. never saw the movie but if there's even 3 others that good it should be considered one of Stallone's most underated. The River album!! long live Springsteen..

  • i thought when he was rocky and crying ADRIAAAAAAAAAN , was his masteroiece ?? :]

  • Agreed, easily his best performace other than Rocky. He is brilliant.

  • Brilliantly summed up. Indeed, the emotion through Stallones performance (one of his very best) and Springsteens amazing gift, is clear to see. An under rated film, and a brilliant scene.

  • Ironic, a cop affected by a man singing about both not getting caught driving a stolen car and a failed relationship he fled.

The director is showing a great use

cinematic metaphor for Freddy's life in the film, that taking a blind eye (Deaf ear?) to the corrupt cops in his town he is somehow like driving a stolen car and waits o get caught (but he never does). Isn't that a form of theft? Springsteen is a master of deeper meaning and metaphor and every song is a lesson in meaningful life.
