From their More Of The Night LP, "Innocent" was produced by Robert Brookins (who scored a Top 20 R&B hit duet with Stephanie Mills in 1988 with their rendition of "Where Is The Love"). New Jack Swing took the music world by storm in the late 80s and many artists took advantage of the new "hip" sound, with its catchy rhythms and infectious beats. The Whispers were no exception, and "Innocent" is proof of how perfectly matched their vocal stylings were with the New Jack Swing sound. "Innocent" peaked at #3 on the R&B Charts (and #55 on the Pop Charts) in late Summer of 1990, pushing their LP to gold status and further cementing the group's hold and impact on Urban music. Enjoy.

@marcusrob02 Great memories of the fall of 1990 when this was released...I went and bought the tape.. and i was only 15yrs old then GEEZZZ.. Havent seen this video in years too...DO you think you can post the video of My Heart your Heart?? Love that song and video too..LOL

Yes..I really wanna strangle Timberlake right now (and all the DJs who play him, especially on urban stations..especially considering how I HATE how he's receiving promotion with how he acted and got a PASS during the whole Janet/Superbowl incident..stupid ass nontalented traiter)
