@maximum411 You could not be more wrong. my cousin in spain runs a dairy farm and this video is really precise. If the cows are treated poorly then they do not produce as much milk. This video is excellent.

hey everybody! i'm getting into dairy cattle business and i'm collecting data. i have sufficient books about the topic but i would like to have some visual aid (documentaries, construction of the barn videos, videos of the daily routine for a farmer) does anybody know where can i find such information (websites, title of documentaries..etc) any help would be appreciated

@maximum411 Can I just say, that the most professional videos are those that are made by organizations such as Dairy Farming Today. PETA videos are ridiculously over the top and even sometimes sound staged. Who says that PETA and other organizations didn't find the WORST farms of American and choose to show them? How many actual dairy farms have you been to? I've grown up around dairies all my life and I'm about to major in Agriculture, and I have never stepped in dairy any worse than this.

cows produce more milk when they are comfortable so farmers have incentive to treat cows nice. also farmers lose a quality bonus for not having clean milk so farmers do keep barns clean. the only people who criticize dairy farms are people who don't know what they are talking about. i've grown up on a farm and would not disagree with any of this vidio

As a dairy farmer that has been to thousands of dairy farms in my state, this video is a fair representation of how dairy cows are really treated. This is a truthful video and I would invite those who are skeptical to visit a dairy farm.  I do the best to care for my cows to make sure they are healthy and comfortable.
