to answer questions thus far, i just have flowmasters 40 series but did also invest in mac preformance intake and headers which im sure helps the sound, it weights approx 6k pounds

@keepthapinit yep, thanks alot. i really like the 6.2 myself but you can do alot with your iron block lq9. get the ls3 heads,cam,headers,intake, 3200 stall and a tune and you will have a nasty truck capable of easy 12 second 1/4 mile times.

I know I'm about to get hold of a 378 ci (6.2) motor from jegs...That 6.0 has ran its course with me...

@keepthapinit thanks. i love my tbss but it dont have the bed of a pickup truck which is a big advantage and the reason i wanted the silverado ss for the 6.0 motor,awd, 4l80 trans,bed and great looks. my first choice with any vehical is always black but the blue and red are both great and the first ss i looked at was red and i couldnt even find a blue one.my tbss is all blacked out now. check out my video of it and tell me what you think.

@BLACKLACDTS Shit you still made out nice with that TBSS... Those things are faster than my SSS...

I know when I went to get mines, there was a 05 black one, an 03 red one, and my 03 blue one... My first choice was to get the black one, because it had a moonroof and chrome rims... My salesman said "You can't get that black one because my sister in law wants it"... So I went with my next choice the blue one lol...

@keepthapinit thanks for the input but my search for a clean low mile awd silverado ss didnt go very well and i ended up buying a awd trailblazer ss. my father is now lookin for a awd silverado ss and we just looked at a really nice one but it sold the next morning. lol

Hey man, I have a 2004 SS, same color and all with a few mods on it, just wonderin what type of cover do you have on the bed? Im lookin for one for the winter

And btw, I would highly suggest putting on Flowmaster dual exhaust, It sounds so much better than the stock.

@alleverrr You can drive a silverado anywhere, on road or off. Especially if it's a Z71! Your imagination is the limit.

i have a strange question

I'm an international student in USA just want to know is it possible to drive a silverado between cities or its just meant to be on highways ! lool I'm intending to go to my college with it :)
