  • @ThePeaceMissile on Christian Fasting: such a low blow shot.

    Open Isaiah 58:6-7

    6. No, the kind of fasting I want calls you to free those who are wrongly imprisoned and to stop oppressing those who work for you. Treat them fairly and give them what they earn.

7 I want you to share your food with the hungry and to welcome poor wanderers into your homes. Give clothes to those who need them, and do not hide from relatives who need your help.

  • @ThePeaceMissile "I have first hand proof, I was born and have lived in the UK (Christian country) all my life! To this day I still have not come accross ONE Christian who has fasted! Bare in mind that I have grown up with Christians through my school, college, university and work life!"

Please note that orthodox christians do fast, that is fact. Perhaps some roman catholics don't, but for Christian orthodox it is mandatory, especially for during easter , supposed to be followed for 40 days

  • so all Mr. sam was able to do is to show huge contradiction between old testament isaiah and new testament colossians, and also within colossian 1:15 and 1:16.

If jesus is the first born among the creation of God , then "all things" cant be created by jesus as he himself was among the creation, Mr Sam needs to go to kinder garten!!

  • @followerofjesus1984 nd just because u live in england, this means squat as i live in england i know a lot of Christian brothers and sisters, and i know for a fact they do fast, just its not a public celebratio like ramadan, we're told to do in private, and not for other benefits

  • @ThePeaceMissile well, this is bogus, cause u have no proof at all, fasting as a private thing that is notto be revealed, as it a thing between God and the person, and i can tell u first handi do, and so does a lot of other, but that is as far as it it goes, as i said its a private thing not for anyone else to know

and deffinately not for it to world known thing either, so assertion is not based on anything substantail, cause if u ask any Christian they will either say they do and it private

  • @ThePeaceMissile where is ur proof that we dont fast ?

    anothe unfounded assertion

  • Seems strange to be worried about what Muslims think about the Deity of Christ. They don't care what we think about the validity of Mohammed's message.

  • No, PeaceMissile... even so the Bible may not use the term "son" or "child" of G-d in a literal sense.... your Quran in (Surah 5:18) denies that Jews and Christians are spiritual "children" of Allah. You've distorted your own position and you've distored mine. The Bible is your enemy, not your friend. Quit acting stupid... and start learning the essentials before you create more red-errings like this. Shalom.

  • Yeshua can in FORM of a servant (hulos)... and humbled Himself, standing obedient to take up the cross. If you want more proof that Yeshua is G-d according to the Bible go take a look at Psalm 45:6-7. Stop misrepresenting what Paul, his friends, and the Apostles believed.

  • Luke wrote the book of Acts.... The literal translation for "paios" in both Acts 3:13 and 4:27 is "child"... not servant. The word "HULOS" in Greek literally means servant. "Paios" can either be a "son" or a "daughter", depending on what you are talking about. Again... the writer of Acts did not believe that Yeshua was a mere man. Read what Paul and his companions really believed (Phillipians 2:7-9).
