I think that if they had to kill either Mara and/or Luke then they should have had Zahn do it, and that the only proper way for them to die would have been together, fighting something overwhelming side by side, you know very epic, meaningful, romantic and powerful.

That's death, man: not everyone's going to go out in a blaze of glory. If everyone in the series died an epic death, then it would cheapen the whole epic death concept; kind of like the whole "if everyone is special then no one is special" notion.

Ich werde STAR WARS weiter lesen, aber leider ist MARA JADE meine Lieblingsfigur und ich werde niemals diesen Unsinn lesen, der da verzapft wurde.
Schon der Tod von Anakin Solo, dem potentiell mächtigsten Jedi aller Zeiten, war völliger Blödsinn, aber nun auch noch die interessanteste Jedi umzubringen......
Was müssen diese Schreiberlinge für eine schlechte Kindheit gehabt haben....
Übrigens paßt die Musik von BG hier wirklich gut!
