K.D. Lang, the famous Canadian singer, sings Barefoot, soundtrack of the film Salmonberries in which she was playing a main character. She is really great. I hope everybody has been able to watch her sing at the opening ceremony of the Olympics in Vancouver. She sang outstandingly.

Heard this the first time in an MTV Unplugged session in the early 90's. It is just as good today as it was then. Her voice is mesmerizing.

This is one of the best songs I have ever heard.
A great musician, that is why, I suppose, we can*t see so much of her.
