Good plan. Don't consider the science. Just put full faith in the parroted conventional wisdom of evolution and an old earth. You already know what happened in the past, so don't get confused learning a few facts (well, many actually) that don't fit into what you were indoctrinated with in school! Any scientist who doesn't fully believe in the evolution religion must be stupid or crazy, right?

Too bad there is no scientific or mathematical case for creation. How does one quantify God or prove his existence? It hasn't been done yet. At least scientists are open to new data and not just their particular dogma, like religionists. I'm more afraid of close-minded creationist Taliban/Nazi types who want to shove their religion down the throats of those students they consider to be "infidels" or "heathens".

@Seasurf88 Peter Kreeft has put together 20 logical proofs of the existence of God; I am convinced science points to him as well. But, perhaps it's best not to investigate such proofs, or the Bible. It's better to continue reasoning that religion is dangerous and evil, whereas open-minded atheists like yourself are "good". When your life is over, it's certain that there is no justice in the universe and that your reasoning will perfectly match reality, so that leaves life available for pleasure!

@Seasurf88 why would you deny logic without giving any reasons to... Alvin Plantinga's argument presupposes the same things science does, and the ontological argument doesn't have to have scientific proof for it to work.

@alyosha24601 Peter Kreeft's own website says we can't prove god exists through the scientific method, the only legitimate method for testing such a claim's validity. He's also a fan of Pascal's Wager, a false dichotomy, and thus a failure as an argument. I think you should talk to some actual atheists. Most of us don't live hedonistic lives, just like most religionists. We believe there is justice, and believe in it, but we know humans have to work at enacting it here on Earth.
