  • stainless will give you less power, but they last a hell of a lot longer. I have an 04 rmz 250 and yes i would call it the valve eater. Also sounds like your drive shaft seal has blown. Good luck

  • @Frankyy436 is the power loss knowticeable? id rather get longer lasting ones and sacrafice 1hp. im ordering Kibblewhite intake valves, springs, shims, clips and everything as a kit. yea i just did those seals, wicked easy to put in. and i put my stock exhaust back on because the Q4 had a shitty powerband for my liking. i like my bike to ride almost like a 2 stroke, top and mid power.

  • kibble white stainless steel valves

  • @Frankyy436 I got a remedy. Get a 2 stroke.. I ride an 06 crf250r and know where you're coming from about the bike eating valves. 2 strokes are a hell of a lot more fun to ride, are cheaper to maintaint, and much lighter. Once Irebuild my crf's250r.. I'm selling it or trading it for a 2 stroke

  • You should buy all new valves and springs and send the head to a professional to have the seats cut and everything installed. It wouldn't hurt to replace the cam chain either. If you go with SS valves, they should last for at least 80 hours. And the power loss is not noticeable. Good luck!

  • my 22YO 2 stroke kx250 always starts right up :)

  • @Trxman300 also yep get the stainless valves intakes only remember

  • you will never notice any power decrease when fitting stainless valves

  • @Trxman300 if i have my info correct, steel valves will give you slightly less power. but not noticeable. good luck with the build
