Today Lenovo officially unveiled its long-awaited IdeaPad U1 Hybrid with LePad Slate. This groundbreaking device is a Windows 7 laptop with an Android tablet -- all under one clamshell.

  • This is definitely so cool. It would be so convenient for university student. You can use the tablet as a eReader, reading notes, PDF files or even textbooks. When you need to have work done, you can pop the screen back, like a regular laptop. Definitely going to check out the specs!

    "Say, when the screen is detached, how do you work with it?"

  • One of the most unique tablets on market. You can use the Windows 7 side to develop apps and then use the Android side to test them. Apparently it also allows a digitizer stylus so thats + points. It's going to be interesting to see what people create and do with this tablet.
