Cash for clunkers Dodge van

A 94 dodge 3500 ram van. One last burnout before disablement of the engine. 360 v8 with 4.10 gears. It had to weigh every bit of 5,000 pounds, but have you ever seen a van that big do that? shame it had to go, it had plenty of power.

I am just curious, junkyards would get these "Cash for Clunkers" vehicles and thrash the engine buy blowing them up, but then, didn't you have to put that chemical solution in the engine so it could never be rebuilt or used again? Or would just killing it by blowing it up with no oil do the same job??

@56Mercgal when the program first started I would just pour the sodium silicate in, it would lock the motor up in just a few minutes or less. There was around 130 cars to disable at my dealership and after the first few cars I decided to have some fun with them. I did some burnouts and stuff and then blew the motors up
