It was a cold, wet, Tuesday morning but the guys were on the job ready to kick some framing butt! :) By that afternoon they had finished the first floor framing and decked the 2nd floor.

how does the rain affect the uncovered wood? does it cause warping problems

@kniedelm Modern building materials can survive getting wet for a few weeks and even longer. The important thing is to allow them to dry out before covering them up with any other material. We will have this home dried in within a week so this project will be fine. Over the past 32 years I have never really had a problem except on one job about 15 years ago we had some sub-floor swell up but even that turned out not to be a big deal. Thanks!
