@TheKidNamedRoland I've been doing quite a bit of research on the Optima SX and the Mazda 6 Grand Touring. They're both about the same price, but the Optima has more features and better styling (imo). I've test driven both and the Mazda has more road feel/better throttle response, but the interior of the Optima is FAR superior. Throw in the fact that the Optima has the same torque with a couple more horsepower (but with better fuel economy) and I give the win to the Optima with no hesitation.

Ever since they changed the style in 2005 I haven't liked it. I have my 2003 and IMO they haven't done it better.

@smokinrobocop unfortunately the manual transmission is only on the 4 cylinder and only on the cheapest trim level...

Now, with the new Hyundai Sonata 2.0 Turbo, the performance, mpg, 100,000 mile warranty, and initial cost being less, it seems to be a better value!

Unfortunately, I only have a fax copy of the window sticker and the pricing info is illegible. Here's what I've been able to cobble together from the Mazda website
Base MSRP $28,390
Options + $3,980
-------------
Technology Package: $1,980
Voice Navigation: $2,000
-------------
Destination Fee + $750
Total MSRP =$33,120
HTH! =)
