@gotthelf100 Da stimme ich Ihnen zu. Die Arie ist halt sehr bekannt und gehört wohl deshalb zum Repertoire aller guten Tenöre. Die ganze Partie auf der Bühne zu singen, ist eine ganz andere Sache. Würde jeder Sänger nur in seinem Stimmfach singen, dann gäbe es nicht so viele zu früh verschlissene Sänger.

Calaf ist aber nicht so geeignet für seine Stimme, die ideal für lyrische Partien und auch für Belcanto ist.

Except for his way of dressing and messing up the lyrics, his voice is very good, although not for Calaf.
