Great post. Listen to the jouralist - "So if this it $300 a barrel we can find alternative resources". Well yes Mr Journalist if it cost people 4 x more to fill up their tanks ($320 to fill up your car) the car based consumer society is completely screwed. See End of Suburbia for the prognosis of $300 a barrell oil.
