Kimchi Ramune

The marble soda from Japan, ramune, also comes in kimchi flavor. Kimchi is the spicy red pickled cabbage from Korea. 12/09/2008

BLEH! That stuff was the real thing, totally gross. It actually tasted a little spicy and salty, and mixed with the regular soda... I had to pour the rest down the drain. We compared the bottle to the wasabi and curry one, and this was a little different. It was made in Osaka, where they take food really seriously. :p

You actually like kimchi ramune? lol I mean, I love kimchi, and I love ramune, but they should NOT be mixed unless it's for laughs. Japanese people wouldn't even drink this stuff. I'd hardly go so far as to say that this taste is has a cultural appeal, and you must not know many people if you're going to claim that my country is that ignorant with food. XD haha

My friend bought this for me and i just tried it. It actually tastes like garlic and chilli, as what the picture indicates, rather than like kimchi. Kinda like the chilli available at McDonalds here in Singapore. I agree with you that it's quite disgusting; probably gonna pour the rest away too haha.

I have noticed that the taste doesn't appeal to white people. But what can you expect from a country that only eats hamburgers and steaks.
