I remember the first time I heard this song was when I was 10 years old. My mother's best friend son had been killed in Viet Nam and we attended the funeral. I remember when we walked into the sanctuary the choir was singing this song and I've never forgotten it. This and Amazing Grace are my favorite religious songs and both are appropriate.

I remember hearing this on a youth trip when I was a teen. It has always been one of my favorites so I was excited to see it on the song list at the youth convention we were at. There had to be at least 2,000 people there all singing this with all the parts. I had to kneel and cry it was so beautiful, wish I could hear it again.

My parents both attendedthe South Pacific Bible College many years ago and were married in the Church of Christ here in New Zealand. Brings back great memories this song.

I am a member of the Church of Christ and a student at Harding University. I've never heard this version of Jesus Is Lord but it is very beautiful. You are located in Penang, Malaysia, correct? It would seem that God has greatly blessed you're work there. God bless you all!
