Here's a vid. montage I made of the "It" girl of the 1960's, the talented, beautiful (and Andy Warhol's own #1) Factory Girl: Edie Sedgwick. Video includes photos of Edie (and some of her with Andy Warhol) and a short clip of of an interview of her about love. Song: "Stupid Girl" by Garbage (which kind of narrates her downfall due to problems with drugs, questionable relationships, and her sad, extremely early death).

She died many years ago of a drug overdose. She was really full of life, from what I know of her. She burned brightly, but at both ends of the candle. She was given too much too quickly.
Drugs are bad. Don't do'em.

Yes, she was beautiful. She died in 1971 (she was 28), and her post-mortem blood samples revealed that she had high levels of alcohol and barbiturate drugs in her bloodstream.

The poor thing! I thought that after rehab and marriage that she'd be clean...:(
