I'm going to assume first that you have not met with Jesus Christ personally beyond inspiration received through personal prayer, meditation, and faith building spiritual experiences. If I am wrong about that, I think your experiences would make a great video.
If we can conclude that your beliefs are based on your understanding of bible teachings, do you believe that there is room for anyone to have a different interpretation, and still be called Christian?

Yea I'v seen that video here on youtube. Its wrong. These paralles were after the time of the Old testiment. Do you realize how impossible it would be for a man to fufill the prophesies of the old testement to a tee the way Jesus did. He did not make the soldier stab him in the ribs, however it was prophisized 2000 years prior to the incident! as was 300+ other prophesies..

The parallels go on and on,
12 disciples, heeled the sick, walked on water.
Was known as "the truth", "the light", "lamb of god", "god's anointed son" ,... (and more)
Was betrayed, crucified, dead for 3 days and get this, he was resurrected!
Did you know these basic qualities have existed in many myths?
Did you know these qualities existed in myths before the story of Horus?
You wanna know why?
Because it's astrology. These figures are stories made up to explain the stars!

So I guess you decide what is fundamental doctrine? You decide what is "time and time again"
Excepting of course the hundreds of mentions of god sanctioned genocide, slavery, rape and the like.
Thank you for the history lesson. May I ask are you familiar with Horus vs Set, have you heard of the Luxor (it's in Egypt)
Here's some historical myth for you.
3000 b.c. Horus was born Dec. 25 of a virgin, star in the east, three kings traveled to him, was a teacher, baptized at 30, crucified.

You are an Atheist! Why are you debating religion?? I will post an atheist video soon then we can debate..

Fundamental doctrine is that which is elaberated upon all through the Bible. It is what was obseved and tought by the Prophets and Apostles time and time again.
And no My Christian beliefs started during the time of Christ at which the church of antioc was later established. And what the emperor wanted controle over is none of my concern. I don't follow emperors I follow Christ. ANd the Bibles are not the same, theres have footnotes by Joseph Smith!
You have more studying to do!

Who decides which are the fundamental doctrine of the bible?
Is it you? If it is why can't you answer my questions?
Your christian beliefs started in 372 a.d., with the roman compiling of your bible canon, that is not "thousands" of years ago. Side note, some of the christian cults the emperor wished to control were polytheistic, and christian.
I can understand the mistake though, as you seem to have a problem with questioning your bible (same bible the mormons use)

"...God causes the saints,or people that fall away from his church to be cursed in time, with a black skin...Ham,like other sons of God,might break the rule of God,by marrying out of the church, did or did he not, have a Canaanite wife, whereby some of the black seed was preserved through the flood...Are or are not the Indians a sample of marking with blackness for rebellion against God's holy word and holy order..."
- LDS MORMON Messenger and Advocate (Mar 1835) William Phelps"Letter No.5" Pg.82
Baptists, Adventists, Pentacostals, Methodists, Catholics all believe in different variants of Christianity. Christian, by dictionary definition means the following "of, pertaining to, or derived from Jesus Christ or His teachings". The Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter Day Saints qualifies. To claim otherwise is an intellectual effort aimed at marginalizing one group. Listing beliefs that are unique to mormons doesn't change that they claim to follow Jesus Christ.

@aboerstra ok so by dictionary definition you say: Let me explain the problem with this response. The Jesus of the Bible is not the same Jesus as the one you will find in Mormon theology! They are two very diffrent beings in every aspect of there relegions. If you want details on how they are diffrent just let me know
