  • It goes to show the power of prayer and working on oneself, which the people did for three days, can turn a bad decree around and into celebration

  • I am so proud of you guys, you bring so much kiddush hashem in all of your songs. You are talented and current and I wish you all success in everything you do...and keep singing! Yishkoach! And chag Purim samayach!

  • maccabeats. com/purimlyrics has the lyrics! But to post it here, official-like:

Ken tihiyeh lanu… (So should it be for us)

It's almost Purim!! Raise your glass and tell the story!

  • Maccabeats are the coolest!!!!

    Shalom Chaverim!!!

If you would like to learn Hebrew FREE I know a great site-Hebrew 4 Christians-just google it-FREE WITH SOUND. Learn at your own pace FREE! Start as simply as the alphabet, go through the Psalms, blessings, names of G-d, and much more FREE!!! I like the daily site blog that tells of the upcoming Shabbat and Jewish Holidays...

I share because it means so much.

  • Thanks 13Naru13 for the translation of v'nahafoch hu. Just wondering if you could provide a translation of ken tihiyeh lanu....I'd appreciate it! The Maccabeats songs "Candlelight" and "The Purim Song" are great ways of taking today's popular music and changing the words to tell important parts of Jewish history to other Jewish teens.....and everyone else, for that matter!

  • LOVE IT!!!! you should make something like this with children's

  • @viewsonic763 It is a parody... They just changed the words....

  • @gunMETAL1133 “v’nahafoch hu” means “turning upside down” - which Esther surely did to Haman's genocidal plans! So far, I love every song they've done! Thank you for the lyrics! Our synagogue's working on a dance to this for Purim. Can't wait!

  • Love this song !!!

    Love you !! :D

Lol where you ever in israel !?!

  • v'nahafoch hu?

  • @WillTepdog i now shish
