@ACDCcowgirl Thank you! I think we placed in the lower half of the class. I cannot remember exactly, I was just excited to get through the pattern!

@Mybabyjoe713 Just saw this message. If he is already broke, I would work on fine tuning everything he knows. Guiding, stopping, leg pressure, etc. The most important thing is make his commands the ones you would want to use. I don't know if you have another horse, but if you do, train him so that you are both comfortable with each other and know precisely what it is you are asking for. If you have questions, ask. i have a question. Im buying a 3yr old paint soon. How should i start training? like breaking up the days? riding groundwork? i hope he turns out wonderful like murphy! you should be so proud of your slef!! and great job!! that looked like a pefect pattern!

@Mybabyjoe713 I am assuming he hasn't been started yet..? Yes, I would do ground work first to teach him the basics of guiding, saddling, stopping, leg pressure using your hand, etc. Mixing it up isn't going to be hard when there is so much you can do, just be creative! Good luck!
