Age of Empires Online PvP -- Opponent's epic villager rush [HD] 1v1

Here's my first upload of a PvP on Age of Empires Online. On about 5:40 mark my opponent attacked with his villagers, which I am not gonna lie, a pretty nice move, and I definitely will steal that tactic on my next game.

Should of started mining a little bit of stone when you saw him doing that, so you could repair.

Also should of attacked when he was at your town center with your army near his base.

@dm9910 I saw a vid from themistaa where he saw that he was getting rushed and countered my making his villagers build barracks right next to the town centre and a house of a different edge then moved the villagers between the building's so it's harder for them to be attacked while repairing while at the same time pumping infantry.

If he kept his villagers on ur tc for as long as he could you would have lost

i just got raped by this tactic. i had no idea villagers were so powerful against buildings.

i'm at a loss for a really good counter though. i had a decent number of toxys when the guy attacked and even got my villagers to try and attack him, but he still got the TC down. i can't think of a better counter to spears and vills than toxys, and i couldn't really build them any faster. the only thing i can think of to help would be a small wall around me tc?

Mistakes:

1 It was better if you didn't park the scout in your base instead of wandering around (hold shift to create a patrol)

2 Never attack with the scout: he's a just defense unit

3 Don't miss cows (as you did at 1:31)

4 Don't build a dock if you have already tons of food near your home

5 Don't build the barracks so far away from your town all

6 When your base is attacked don't wait 2 minutes doing nothing

Your foe was really a heavy noob.. Your enemies won't be all so kind
