UDL@UVM Project seeks to create opportunities for success and meaningful learning for all students, including those with learning challenges and disabilities.
Founded on the Center for Applied Special Technology (CAST) Principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and aligned with our ever growing understanding of the three
cognitive networks, UDL@UVM consultations are changing teaching and learning, one courseat a time.
This video introduces a collaborative consultation model designed to assist faculty to design teaching strategies that are based on the neuroscience of learning. Two students,
Louise Contino and Anna Holland-Levine, a faculty member, Sheila Boland Chira, now using UDL practices, and UVM's president, Daniel Fogel, share their perspectives on UDL for UVM.
