South Africa's Healthcare Sector is set for huge changes as Government is expected to come out with the white paper on its National Health Insurance Plan next month.
Analysts expect more consolidation to take place among the country's 114 medical schemes.
This will clearly bode well for major players like Discovery and Metropolitan, who are seeing growth in some of their non-traditional markets as well as for smaller players like Sanlam, who are aggressively trying to gain market share in this space.
