This Video has been in the making for just about a month. It took so long to make due to limited times in which I could film. The film was filmed on location at Bo'Ness & Kinneil Railway.

The Train in the film is the Morayshire, introduced in 1927. It weighs 110 tons and its three cylinder engine can produce a Max pressure of 180lb.

Soundtrack: 3:10 to Yuma by Marco Beltrami from the film 3:10 to Yuma

  • The timing and editing of the shot are superb, as well as the photography. My hat off to you sir! Seeing it was shot with a low-end HD camera and edited with a 'home' video editor it clearly shows it's talent and dedication that counts, and not the tools and equipment. 5 stars from me!

  • Thank you for your comment on Full Steam Ahead. So that you know it took about two to three weeks of filming the train up and down the line and after each day I would be editing the film. I have lots of additional footage of the train that did not make it into the film due to timing of the soundtrack.

  • Trust you to bang your head Roy!

  • Just to add -i'm the idiot banging my head on the cab roof at the start - but the black smoke and blowing safety valve are NOT mine!

  • Great video and smashing soundtrack. Now - what about the return journey ?

  • This is a magnificent video and the quality - clarity, pan and zoom, colours - are well worth your time and effort to produce this. I have followed the SRPS and 'Morayshire' since 1977 and never have I seen her more beautifully portrayed - only the smell was missing to make it perfect. Thank you so much for making this and sharing it.

  • lovely loco just wish a railway down my way would loan her so i could see her for real

  • This is cinema!

    Bravo
