I've known Alice since I was a little kid in school in the early 50's. I 1957 I had a classmate named Alice Billips, (sp) She was the spitting image of this Alice...I don't need no stinkin' sound...I can hear the teacher, the boys, the dog and the laughter Alice brought to this era. I'm sorry to hear that Alice has died. She and her whole class, teacher, dog and all brought humor to all who knew her. RIP Alice...You'll never be forgotten for two more millennium's girl. Your parents too RIP.

@SupremeHero777 It's every kid's dream to run away from a boring classroom. I hardly see how this could be interpreted as "Walt's dark side".

Yeah it would help and you where right to think that way. We both hold differing views so it's cool. Take care man ;-)

I was replying to your "wow, ok" comment I thought it meant something like "wow, I'm amazed you could believe that" and "ok, you're insane". If that's not what you meant, my mistake. It would really help if we could hear people's tone of voice when reading their comments on the internet.

You answered your own argument.

Wow, ok.

I see nothing inherently "bad" or "dark" about rebelling against authority.
I bring some sad news. Virginia Davis, the little girl who plays Alice in this film, passed away this week at the age of 90. RIP.

Seriously, do you hurt anyone one besides yourself if you tell your teacher how obnoxious he/she is being? I wish I'd had the courage to stand up to a teacher of mine who would shout at people for no reason. He was so abusive, I wanted to strangle him (but I didn't, and of course it IS bad and dark to strangle someone). Sometimes, rebelling against authority is even morally required. After all, the Nazis were authority figures.
