Lowdown Popcorn definition: Nasty, greasy, old school funk jam. No talk and all walk. Drenched in butter fat. An addictive ear snack. A beat that talks loud to you and does not allow you to talk back, only nod your head, pop your neck, snap your finger, etc.

Actually, this wasn't recorded at Bell Auditorium...this was a studio recording which was included on the 1970 "Sex Machine" double LP. It's a fabulous song, however...but this long version exists in mono only, according the "Soul Pride" compilation.

Sex Machine " LIVE" on the Polydor label show cases this cut live with an into from James live with his bad self in his hometown, Augusta GA. Bad Ass Record.
I miss this old funkadelic soul.

I remember this song when I was a little kid! This joint is a classic!
Rare. This version was not on the "Live at The Appolo, Vol II" album. This is cold greasy shit. What LP/CD is this on?

previously unreleased, only included in James's 1993 'Soul Pride' collection of instrumentals.
