Question for Islam

I wanted to put the questions out there for those who follow the religion of Islam. I want to give them the opportunity to speak up and have a voice. To confirm for us all exactly where they stand.
The media shows us how destructive they can be; how they seek to seize control over way of life; how they wish death upon all who so much as criticise their beliefs.
I want to hear what they themselves have to say. The average muslim, no different than the everyday christian - not the insane extremist, but the next door neighbour who you see everyday.
Islam has received a lot of bad publicity thanks to the psychotic extremists who go out of their way to make themselves hated throughout the rest of the world.
Though they think they are spreading fear for their kind, what they are really doing is creating contempt.
This is their chance to set the record straight.
I encourage all muslims to set the record straight once and for all.
Show us now who you really are.
Or are you really what the media portrays you to be?

u dont have to be afraid of muslims, the so call extremist, did really read the quran and didnt understand the teachings. if u educate all the muslims bring them to ur culture than is less likey to be extremist. but still their alot christian extremist in the world yet they r not called terrorist at all caz the pope fears that people will stop being christian.

@intiser401 I wouldn't say that I fear muslims, rather the mentality that all religions have in common. You are right when you say there are a lot of christian extremists, even if they aren't as publicised. Not all of them are catholic too and have anything to do with the pope. Catholics and the pope are of the church of Rome, the many offshoots of christians are too numerous to count.

So as you can see, the muslims don't have a monopoly on crazy.

I really don't know why people are judging the whole muslims based on a few extremist ??!! U.S murdered houndreds of thousends innocent people in Iraq & Afghanistan .. I'm not gonna talk about Japan ,, vietnam ,, Palestine ,, Pakistan ,,

There are almost 3 kinds of Muslims nowadays:

1)Muslims who do not kidnap and kill and terrorize,they do not do that at all

2)Muslims who kidnap OR kill OR terrorize for avenging their victims,and paying back aggressors and there helpers badly,because they occupied their land

3)Muslims who kidnap,kill,and terrorize for unknown reasons,only they know there own reasons,no one knows why they do so,

no Christians,other faiths,

and even no Muslims know why!
