Ive looked at the 3.9 in my 87 dakota, it basicaly looks like a six cylinder la engine, i happen to have one of those and the t904 fresh rebuilt and looking for a home, do they make a bracket kit for the v8 to just drop in, and could it bolt to the v6 bellhousing etc or would the 904 fit in fairly easy also??? gna be a tite squeeze with the fan and radiator ???? HELP PLZ???

man, I have some 255's on the R/T wheels and carved out some olympic rings at work the other night. I'll have to get some footage and get it up here. Also getting a new bed this week!

If you are going to lower it at least make it level.
Nice sounding pipes but your audio is clipping so it gives you a crackeling sound on your video.

Hey man got a question. How hard was the swap and what v8 did you drop in the truck? I have a 94 regular cab as well thats 2wd and has the 3.9 in it but want to swap in a v8. Also how did you change out the rear end sense the trucks do not have a posi rearend? Thanks. If you could just send me a message with any info that might help.

@R6carter i dropped in a 1995 5.2/318 from a donor truck...since you have a 3.9 in yours it will swap no problem but it has to be a 94-95 engine/harness/ecu... all the mounts are the same...the radiator and fuel pump are the same...i also did take the sure grip rear end and the heavy duty 5 speed transmission from the donor truck they also bolted right in...if you are gonna do the swap get a donor truck with the engine trans and sure grip rear its the best way to do it

i got some bad news for you man...the frame where the engine bolts in is differnt on the 4cyl dakota....when i was looking for a clean body i had to find a V6 so it would be an easy swap...i started with pretty much the same truck but it was all rotted out...so i just did a drivetrain swap...im not saying its impossible...its just not as straightforward....
