actually if you watch the end credits they state that none of that is true, however this is still a good movie.

Actually if you read the end credits, you can learn that's true and based on the autobiography of 'Lorenzo' - it's not his real name of course - but that the american autorities deny all this story - therefore they say that it's not true -. That's all it is (read the credits once more ;)).

@ZanGrem there were 2 armed guards shot dead about that time up in an 11th avenue bar/HellsKitchen and would be about the time line in this movie ...their truck already made deliveries/no pick up and the motive was never figured out BUT those from that area and anyone else say from east harlem etc KNOW a debt was repaid and someone's honour restored....and i'm too tired to look for a link from either a nyc paper or the village voice.

The most amazing film ever, fantastic directing, fantastic actors, fantastic script it was immense...

The line up of actors is just epic, Robert De Niro, Dustin Hoffman, Brad Pitt, all amazing actors...

This is the best movie ever. I watch this every time I see it on TV. It's a complicated and long story, but this video was good. Only to bad it didn't go to deeply about the revenge part. How they took their revenge, and the part where they took revenge for Rico (the black/italian guy) and how they got away with it in the court. And de ending was also very sad, etlast they got their revenge. Btw at the end they said, it wasn't based on a true story. Still, the best movie ever!
