@decadyne I have the GPS pod and works just terrific .....

I am sending you a PM with my MSN so I can answer all your questions. I have EVERYTHING Suunto has produced and you couldn't have better luck with asking someone. ;)

gshock, I really appreciate the response. I will check with Suunto, too, but I really appreciate your expertise. I did look at the Suunto site for the t6c, but I wasn't sure about its GPS capabilities. For GPS, I would need a shoe pod, too?

I recommend the T6C. I observed the FBA and Timex Software and nothing beats STraM which with all its faults is STILL the software to beat for training data analisys.
T6D is EXACTLY the same as T6C so I guess now the C is on sales. Go for it and you won't regret. Any questions the Suunto Forums are the place to ask, not here.

This guy loves gadgets. You can just tell. Also: "DIS-play"? Uh, no. The word is disPLAY.

Can you explain more on the STraM? What watch do you recommend?
-
isnt there a really good strapless HR monitor by now?
-
You're right dude, STraM is 10 times better than FBA. I know the prob of slight difference between STraM and T6c epoc/TE reading and I think this is because of bad data AND the fact T6c does NOT have a RHR parameter to be set while STraM does.
I am by now, a real expert on T6c and STraM :))))

Good info. Thanks man!

Whar are the face diameters for the Core and the T6c please
About the TE on the watch not being the same as on your computer:
it says in the Suunto t6c Running Guide Book, page 10, in bold type: NOTE: The Training Effect figure shown on the watch is not as accurate as the Training Manager Software due to the reduced computing capacity of the watch - always check the actual Training Effect by analyzing the log in the Training manager Software.
