  • Well if anyone does watch this today December 1, the AP forgot to mention that today is the birthday of Jazz Bassist/legend Jaco Pastorius. Jaco was one one of the leaders of the jazz fusion movement in the 60's and 70's. He made it big with fusion group, Weather Report, but had also played with countless other vision such as: John McLaughlin, John Scofield, and Tony Williams. Tragically he was murdered in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida outside of a club in 1987. R.I.P. Jaco you live on!
