Are you comparing a screw driver to an impact driver? No wonder the PS40 won....
To put "vs" in the title is misleading! You're comparing chalk and cheese.

Have to say, I have the ps20 and I can drive a 3" screw that speed without the pre-drilled hole. I don't think that one is working up to par. I tested a new ps21 last week, and it couldn't complete a single 3" screw on the first charge. I think the power system may be flimsy or unreliable. My ps20 has awesome power after first charge. The light is like a flashlight. go figure.

WHY DID U LET GO OFF THE TRIGGER! LED LIGHT!

The one on the left had a false start every time.

@herenowww I think you will find it is a comparison of 2 models of the same drill, not 2 different drills. The one with the flat face is the older design.
Maybe they changed the design, because the older model and the impact driver look quite similar.

Check out their newest, the PS-30. Just got one, it is sweet.

the ps20 only has one gear so it is slow. i have the ps40 and it is great for extracting older screws from a deck but it makes a racket and i would never build anything with it so as to not disturb any neighbors. the full size bosch cordless 24V drill is way faster than the ps40 at putting screws in.

Yeah- I did just the same with a deck. Be OK if there was no other choice. Overall I am not as pleased as at first, and batteries are beginning to tire. Of course, the newest the- PS-30 2 speed drill- looks like it would be perfect form my needs.

yup i think i am going to look for a ps-30 on ebay. same batteries as the ps40 right?

Yes. They re-branded them now as "12 volt", but the specs seem the same, unless they tweaked the charger. Good luck on Ebay, it may be too new to be there for a while.
