Around Toronto with the James Gang

NOTE: Any cultures/ethnicities not present in this video is NOT the result of intentional exclusion. Both time and transportation were limited. Read below for more.

Made for a media studies assignment, this is about the multiple ethnic groups in the city of Toronto. I had wanted to do something like this for a while, so I guess I was fortunate. Major issues that could not be fixed because of time constraints and/or stupidness: far too many cultures have been left out to represent the city's true multiculturalism (notably black culture, see Carabana), India is not part of the middle east, and the weather on the shooting day sucked, so don't let that put you off. If I ever get my own camera, I may just make a better version of this

I think toronto WAS heading toward true multi-culturalism but now is going back. I dont want to see seperated communities, i want to see a chinese restaurant right beside a greek one, etc. And I think the cities' idea of starting to segregate schools for educational purposes is bullshit. They were gettin there but now are just going back in time in my opinion.
