I WANT A RECORD SHOP IN COLUMBUS MOTHA FLOCKA!
-
@Toxicanty I agree and the only time I would use one of those game renting services is to make sure any future game I buy is to my taste. I wish they did the same with music, because I'm a person who buys music from even unknown/forgotten bands/genres and twice I ended up with records done by racists.

I, personally, buy the CD, then rip the music onto my computer so that I have the best of both worlds. I have the original CD and cover art, while still having the MP3 that allows me to listen without putting the CD in danger. And to those companies that say that me doing that is wrong: Fuck you. I paid for the fucking music fair and square, and I'll do with it what I want.

Having lived a bit away from a store of any kind, actually going out to get the CD or something was made difficult. I agree with the sentiments made against MP3s, however, it's a downright lie to claim that MP3's are "lower quality music" compared to the original CDs. It's the exact. Same. Music. Quality. It merely stays in its original file format in digital space, which is actually better as it doesn't run the risk of scratching or otherwise damaging the file.

SUB POP ZOO!!!!!!

@Toxicanty I agree. Holding the CD and playing it and observing the cover art is much more satisfying than listening to an Ipod.

@luketoke112 besides your bad grammar what was the point of this ?

@topnotchvariable Um, I'm not stupid.. I just don't see how you can say they're selling out. All they've done is progressed with themselves. I don't see how that's a bad thing.

@gangstazombiekilla The Nerd is Raging in you my son.... (you're stupid I'm done with this)
I'm this way with my manga, games, anime, and music. Sure I can download them online, even for free even if it ain't right - fact is it's all out there - but I always have to tell my mother - I don't want iTunes cards for Christmas, I want the actual CDs. Heck I don't even have an iPod anymore, the one with my name engraved on it was stolen. How stupid is that? Anyway point is, I want something TANGIBLE, not just a crapload of files.
