The Boy Scouts of America from Faith Academy Manila visited GreenEarth Heritage Foundation, Inc. in Bulacan last November 2011 to serve the poor rural members of our humble community.
Featured are a few raw clips of their visit, particularly the highly enjoyable games that the boys had played with the GreenEarth kids. Despite the rainy weather, muddy paths, and bridgeless river that they had to cross, they still persevered to show that we can never be too young or too old to serve Christ and His people.
Special mention to Mike Tripp and Patrol Leaders Ike Parshall and Kevin White for speaking on behalf of the Boy Scouts.
As the volunteer teacher of these precious kids, I can sincerely tell that their joy was uncontainable that day. Indeed, these are the very same memories that will forever put smiles on their faces and will push them to still dream big dreams for themselves despite all the daily hardships that they face.
The only gift is a portion of thyself. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson
