Thanks Barbara - I agree - this is money well spent . Other costs - not included in the construction bill - are business and resident survival during construction. Construction cost - $1 1/2 billion for the first 20 miles. The Glendale piece is targeted for completion around 2017. Thanks

Neat John! Phoenix is lucky to have such modern, great mass transit. Wish more in the stimulus package, just passed in Congress, went for projects like this instead of more tax cuts for the rich.
