The memories this cartoon bring back for me are so overwhelming. I never forgot it or the music score that went along with it.The music for this series is awesome and this clip is just a demonstration of how good it is. Once again hexseeker, many thanks!

Several of these Tarzan episodes were based on original stories by Edgar Rice Burroughs, the City of Gold for example. The monkey N-Keema was one of Tarzan's characters in the novels while Cheetah the chimp was an invention of MGM studios back in the 30's.

A viewer responded how this cartoons have detail in the drawings and movements. I agree on both opinions. I think Filmation took film from real motion sequences and superimposed drawings over each frame. Then they used that stock footage for certain scenes cutting production time

I like the way Tarzan is drawn in this series. Don't care much for the Disney Tarzan, In Disney, Tarzan looks like a long haired baboon on Steroids. Tarzan here looks like maybe alittle like Arnold when he did Comando, not too bulky, but still muscualr.
